Holiday Giving to St. Jude with Gordmans

The Holidays always deliver the perfect reminder of how truly blessed we are. We have a roof over our heads and food in our bellies; we have amazing friends and a happy, healthy family!

There are so many families with children that will have to spend the holidays in the hospital because they have life threatening diseases which hurts my heart so much. I could not imagine what these families are going through, my heart just goes out to them. Aside from our thoughts and prayers, I also make it a point to donate to St. Jude.

St Jude provides funding for families so that they never receive a bill for treatment, housing, travel or food - because all they should have to worry about is helping their child live. I also learned that treatmens that were invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to more than 80 percent! St. Jude is working to drive the overall survival rate to 90 percent, and have committed to not stopping until no child dies from cancer.  

This holiday, we are working with Gordmans who has partnered with St. Jude to assist in raising money to help fight childhood cancers and pediatric diseases. There are multiple ways that you can donate - 1. Through the hashtag #BearsThatCare - from November 1 - December 31, Gordmans will donate $1 to St. Jude for each Instagram feed post with this hashtag.

We purchased this cute bear while we were Holiday decor shopping at Gordmans a few weeks ago - it's adorable, so soft and will even make a great gift! While there, we found so many adorable holiday/decor finds and some really great gifts - for the most AMAZING prices! Gordmans is an off-price retailer with great options for holiday decor, gifting, and traditions.
