READ THIS BEFORE SHOPPING Nordstrom Anniversary Sale DUPES - Same or Similar Items for Less $!
As a blogger I feel an immense pressure to cover the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale - I mean, it's a decent sale and all - but I honestly believe so many of the items are overpriced to begin with - jut put on sale. So put an overpriced item on sale and it's then the same price as you can get it elsewhere!
So I'm out to prove my theory - I have searched high and low to find the same (or very similar) items from other retailers/sites for the same price or cheaper! I am probably killing any chance to ever work with Nordstrom again by doing this, but I feel like it's my job to be up front and honest with you all. I'm a bargain hunter and sale shopper at heart - I always find the best deals!

You don't have to go far to find a very similar item for less $ on this one as Nordstrom sells an almost identical sneaker for $20 less!

This skirt is adorable and can be worn in so many ways - I styled a few of them last fall/winter with over the knee boots and sweaters. I was able to find a few dupes, nothing exact - but the same brand in very similar styles.

I was able to find these EXACT jeans at a different retailer for over $10 less!
I was able to find a very similar item for this item for $19 - only a $5 difference, but still cheaper!
I'm lumping all of these together because there are a lot of basics in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale - however - I have purchased these same tees that are on sale this year and I honestly believe the 'A New Day' line of basics at Target is better. They have a large selection of colors/patterns and the fabric quality is amazing! You can find their basics on sale often for under $10 - but regular price is still around the $10 mark, so still better than the #NSale finds!
7. AG Jeans
Again, lumping all of these together - the styles really aren't that different in my opinion anyway - but you can definitely find them elsewhere for a LOT cheaper.

I wasn't able to find an exact dupe for this one - however if you remember last year's stripe cardigan (with the rust and blue) - so many Amazon dupes came up shortly after the sale, so if you can't find the exact stripe combo now, I would assume you'll be able to by the time fall rolls around!

I didn't find the exact match for this one, but found another super similar item on Amazon (with prime!)
I love these boots, they are so great in the fall and winter - I was able to find a few dupes on Amazon, but many didn't have a lot of sizes available.
I hope this at least gives you a kick start into really doing your research before just assuming that since it's part of the sale that it's a good deal.
