11 Reasons Why the Elf Forgot to Move...
Ugh...here we are in the midst of Elf Season. We are starting to run out of ideas for moving Taffy, Daphnie's Elf on the Shelf, around the house. What's worse is we are always forgetting to move her. I swear, every other night I get all cozy in bed and then pop back up just as I'm drifting to sleep...{oh *%$@! I forgot to move Taffy!!!} Thankfully my husband is amazing and always volunteers to go move her to her next location.
- BUT -
If you are just far too exhausted and either don't have that OH %$#@! moment or jut don't want to remove yourself from the comfort of your warm bed, arm yourself with one of the below excuses as to why the Elf didn't move last night...
Enjoy!
1. The Elf must have been too scared of your pet(s) to move.
2. The Elf reallly liked that spot and wanted to stay there {at least} one more day.
3. The Elf really wanted to build up their strength for their next move.
4. Santa must have given him the night off.
5. Maybe the Elf got stuck and needs help from another Elf to get unstuck.
6. The Elf may have accidentally fallen asleep after watching you all day and slept through the night.
7. You didn't go to sleep very well and were up too much last night.
8. He most definitely did move...isn't that foot in a different spot??
9. The Elf has a really good view from that spot, so it's probably going to go there a lot.
10. The Elf isn't feeling very well from eating too many cookies.
11. The Elf must be testing us to make sure we are paying attention...we are! Go us!!
