October is National Bullying Prevention Month

If you follow us on Instagram, you have likely seen the video I posted earlier this week about Carissa, a beautiful little girl who not only suffers from an extreme case of Eczema, but was terribly bullied for the way her skin looked. She said herself that she 'felt like a monster' which absolutely breaks my heart.
After reading about and hearing Cariss's story (read more here), I knew we wanted to help and get involved.
Carissa received three-week-long treatments for three consecutive years where she just finished her last cycle. While Eczema does not have a cure, Carissa has been doing great and is now able to manage her flare-ups with a regimen of Avene products at home.
