Fall Fashion Finds at Gordmans

We got a very small glimpse into Fall earlier this week as a storm was rolling in - and we were all about it! The temps may have gone straight back into summer the next day, but that didn't stop us from shopping for all things fall at Gordmans over the weekend! 

I'm sure you all remember our Back to School with Gordmans post last month, and many of you had mentioned that you didn't have a Gordmans in your area - well - we are excited to announce that Gordmans recently opened 72 new locations and is on tour this month holding the grand opening of 17 new stores!

Daphnie and I had so much fun shopping for all things fall - from home decor to clothes and shoes too! We left with so many great finds. My favorite find has to be Daphnie's AG jeans that we got for only $15! That is seriously unheard of and I am a girl after a good deal, so this made me the most happy. And did you see her vegan leather jacket?! It is precious, the leather is so soft and it even has a matching knit hood. 

My striped cardigan has all of my favorite fall details - the colors are perfect, the length is great and it has pockets! I was super happy to find this pink satin tank that matched so well. This cozy outfit makes me so excited for the fall weather we will have eventually...right?

Oh! And while we were there, we snagged a few throw pillows and even a dog bed for Cupcake. She was the most excited - she hasn't had her own bed for the past year since Thor ate BOTH of her other two beds! How cute is she?

One Rust Skirt + Fall Staples = Endless Outfits

The moment I saw this adorable pinch-pleated skirt at the Mod fall benefit-fashion show, I had to have it. I immediately saw so many cute outfit ideas that I couldn't wait to start creating.  Here are some really cute outfit ideas to transition into fall. They are unfortunately sold out of this skirt in this color, but still have it in black, HERE.  I did find a similar skirt HERE, but you can re-create most of these outfits with any skirt. I used a lot of basic tees, tanks, cardigans - which you probably already have in your closet!

I snagged this cardigan at Marshalls (I think) a few years ago - it's oversized and super comfy. I haven't been able to find the exact cardigan, but the cardigans tagged below are very similar. 

Beige Cardigan

Basic White Tank and White Platform Sneakers

I used the same white tank here that I used in the outfit with the beige cardigan above. This waffle knit charcoal gray cardigan is new from this season, so I was able to link the exact one. I picked flat black OTK boots because #momlife - but heeled boots would look just as cute!

I love this combo so much! The pop of leopard is so fun and really makes the outfit. This is so easy to wear - and you probably all know sneakers are kinda my favorite. Comfortable, cute and casual.

Another favorite - and such an easy outfit to throw together. Who doesn't have a denim jacket in their closet? Fun Fact: I bought this cropped denim jacket back in high school, it is the No Boundaries brand that used to be sold at Walmart - but its such a classic staple, here it is still helping me pull outfits together over 15 years later. Obviously I can't tag my exact jacket, but I found a few similar options.

So Delicious! Pomegranate Grilled Chicken Gorgonzola Salad Recipe!

It has been a minute since I've shared any recipes lately - so when I made this delicious salad for lunch yesterday I thought I would type up a post and share! This salad went perfectly with our relaxed afternoon, just hanging out on the patio in this gorgeous weather we've been having. 

I purchased everything I used for the salad at our local grocery store, and will link everything below - with the exception of this beautiful Tribeca Hand-Turned Wood Salad Bowl from Vagabond House, linked HERE. Ingredients:

Market Fresh Organic Spring Leaf Mix

Marzetti Simply Dressed Pomegranate Vinaigrette

Dried Cranberries

Candied Pecans

Gorgonzola Crumbles

2 Chicken Breast - Grilled 

I like for the chick breast slices to be warm when I place them on my salad, but it's good with them cold too!

This salad is so simple to put together and so good to eat. I sometimes add avacado and freeze dried apple crisps to it as well and often switch the dressing out for the Panera Fuji Apple dressing!
