Our Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Favorites & Try-Ons!

We have been having so much fun covering the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale - we are now ready to share a few of our favorite pieces from the sale. Don't forget, the sale runs from today, July 20th to August 5th. I have linked everything below each picture for every item that is in the sale to make it easy for you to shop!

If you aren't familiar with the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale - let me fill you in - this is an annual sale that happens at the end of every summer and contains brand new pieces for fall/winter discounted to super low prices! I will also note - things do sell out super fast, so if you see something you need, make sure you buy it right away! There are restocks sometimes, but it's not guaranteed - so it's just safe to buy what you like when you can.

My favorite way to shop these days - as an insanely busy mom - is online with the option to pick up in the store! That way the shopping is done for me, but I don't have to wait for shipping. I did place an online order as soon as the Early Access sale was live for the pieces I absolutely had to have. But I couldn't get enough so we headed to the mall over the weekend...

I was in pure heaven running around the Nordstrom Anniversary sale over the weekend and picking through all of the amazing deals! The store actually wasn't terribly busy and my stylist, Sarah, was amazing! She found me every time my arms were too tired to keep holding all of the great new pieces I was hoarding to add them to my dressing room. She was a saint!

 

AG The Farrah Ankle Jeans  ||  BP. Raw Edge V-Neck Tee
This is the first pair of AG jeans I have ever purchased and they do not disappoint. They fit so well and look great on! My husband even pointed them out which is a big deal! I got this BP. tee in both black and white. It is at an amazing price and can easily be worn with just about anything!

Vince Camuto Kentvi Sandal
These booties were a staple as I was trying on outfits in the dressing room - so I knew they needed to make their way home with me. They easily paired with everything and are perfect to transition into fall!

||  Zella Street Style High Waist Leggings  || Calson Pocket Tee  ||

I already have a few pair of Zella leggings, but these might be my new favorite. The color is perfect and I love the moto stripe details and mesh inserts on the legs. The Calson pocket tee is another easy staple that can pair with anything!

||  Free People Saturday Morning Cardigan  ||
I could not get enough of this cardigan. I paired it with almost everything I put on and loved it every time! It is so soft and cozy...I may live in it this fall/winter, so if anyone needs me, I'll be in the big pile of soft burgundy yarn.

||  Leith Melange Wrap Dress  ||

This Leith dress was one of the first pieces to make it into my shopping bag, I have a few other Leith dresses and hoped it would fit just as well...it did not disappoint! The ruched sides are so flattering and the wrap front is a perfect detail. I styled it both casual with sneakers and also with this cozy Free People Cardigan and Vince Camuto Booties.

I had my eye on this skirt from the minute I first shopped the sale online. It is also by Leith, and has a matching jacket in the sale. I love the pattern and tie on the front. This one sold out really fast online in my size, the only one in-store was a size Medium so I had to hold it in the back to get an idea what it would look like in the right size. I'm still hoping it gets a restock in all sizes!

This sweater may be my favorite of the sale. I am obsessed with this color right now and these balloon sleeves are perfection!

If you have been following the sale at all I'm positive you have seen this long sleeved striped tee. It is also at an amazing price and is so easy to wear. You can wear it with booties and a cardigan or solo with sneakers - which is perfect for me!

This sweater is super comfortable and I'm loving this color! I sized this one up to wear it a bit more slouchy.

Another pair of AG jeans that fit so perfectly - I love the wash on these ones a lot! These Vince Camuto booties are another perfect pair for fall! I love the stitch detail on them and the open ankle detail.

I don't know that I've ever worn anything more comfortable and fuzzy! I am pretty sure it is similar to being an abominable snowman. I will definitely be throwing this on whenever I can.

Daphnie also got in on the action at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. She had so much fun shopping with me. I was so happy to find a pair of jeans that actually fit her really well (that never happens!) And I have to apologize in advance for the terrible lighting in the girls dressing room - it was awful. The lighting paired with that terrible wall color was just awful. We were able to suffer through it though to snap a few cute pics of her favorites!

This grey Zella sweater was an instant-favorite for Daphnie. It is super soft and lightweight, so it's perfect for the fall transition. It also has thumbholes which she is a fan of.

The Zella hoodie (which comes in a few different colors) was another instant favorite. It is also very soft and lightweight.

I could not wait to see Daphnie in this T-shirt dress. It is one of the cutest pieces in the Kids sale collection and it did not disappoint!

Daphnie loves just about anything with a kitty on it...so the kitty print on this dress is heaven for her! It's super cute, has an elastic waist and buttons on the front.

White platform sneakers are the perfect staple for anyone, but especially for girls in my opinion - she tried on almost everything wearing these sneakers and everything matched so well!

These jeans are sooo cute! I love the wash on them and the distressing is perfect. They actually were skinny enough to fit Daphnie as skinny jeans - which is amazing - that never happens!

There is nothing easier to wear than a Tshirt dress. The distressed detail on this dress makes it super casual and trendy. I love putting Daphnie in casual dresses - they are easy, agreeable and comfortable!

This tshirt is so adorable. It's simple but the colors are perfect together. Great top for back to school!

So Many Cute Girls Dresses {and a Giveaway} with Pippa & Julie

I always know when Daphnie gets fun mail because the second she opens the box, she just squeals! Last week was no exception when she got a box with a bunch of beautiful dresses in it! She had so much fun looking at each one and their beautiful details and trying them all on. I don’t know that she could pick a favorite if I wanted her to.

These dresses were so fun to photograph her in as you could tell how much she loved them! I have so many great pictures to choose from – I’m not sure how I’m going to narrow it down for this post!

I also have to note - the quality of these dresses and the fabrics are amazing. They are such high quality and we will be packing them to take on vacation with us in two weeks.

Daphnie had so much fun twirling around in this adorable dress! The top is a beautiful floral rainbow lace and the bottom is lined and has multiple fluffy layers of soft tulle. This dress comes in a few different variations with different patterns and tulle colors.

My Picks from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Early Access

I just went through all of the Early Access items for the HUGE Nordstrom Anniversary Sale that goes live to everyone on July 20th and picked out all of my favorite items. If you aren't familiar with the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale - you are missing out! Nordstrom holds a huge sale every year at the end of the summer including a lot of their new fall items! This is the perfect time to shop for fall/winter styles that you can snag for a really great price!
It wasn't easy, but I have narrowed my favorites to the items below. I unfortunately don't have the budget to get to buy all of the items but I snagged quite a few and cannot wait to show them all to you! I can tell you the sweaters and bootie finds are abundant!
